“Estonian Holiday”

I was traveling through Estonia in June 2019 when I came across this bathing beauty. I wasn’t sure if the barbeque was hers or if she brought any food to cook. I noticed her folksy cushion placed on top of the blanket. It struck me that she was sitting quietly in a large field without any reading material or cell phone to occupy her time. In addition, it was a very bright day, yet she lacked sunglasses. It made me feel that she must have been content with the simple things in life: sunshine, quiet, and a day of rest.
